How do I turn off AI Auto-Cancellation?

At Chargeback, our AI Auto-Cancellation feature is designed to make subscription management completely effortless. Whenever we detect a new subscription or free trial, our AI takes action automatically—canceling it on your behalf to prevent unwanted charges. You’ll always have a window of time to opt out before a cancellation is processed.

However, we understand that some users prefer more control over their cancellations. If you’d like to disable AI Auto-Cancellations, follow these simple steps:

1️⃣ Open the Chargeback app and navigate to the Accounts tab.

2️⃣ Tap on the Alerts tab.

3️⃣ Locate the settings for AI Free Trial Cancellations and AI Subscription Cancellations.

4️⃣ Toggle them off to disable automatic cancellations.

Once these settings are turned off, you’ll still receive notifications about new subscriptions and free trials, but no cancellations will happen automatically—you’ll have full control over what gets canceled and when.

If you ever want to turn AI Auto-Cancellations back on, simply follow the same steps and toggle the settings back on.
